UAE VAT Deregistration Checker
What this calculator does
If your business is already VAT-registered but your taxable turnover has fallen, you may be required — or able to choose — to deregister. Under UAE VAT law, deregistration is mandatory once your trailing 12-month taxable supplies drop below AED 187,500, and voluntary once they drop below AED 375,000 (provided at least 12 months have passed since you registered). This tool checks your figures against both thresholds and tells you which deregistration status applies to you.
Disclaimer
This calculator provides an indicative result for guidance purposes only. Deregistration liability can also depend on whether you've ceased making taxable supplies entirely, and specific exemptions or grouping rules may apply to your situation. PrimeLedger Consultancy FZCO does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of the result produced by this tool. Please cross-check your result with a qualified expert, such as PrimeLedger, and refer to official Federal Tax Authority guidance before making any deregistration decisions.
